My Story

Raised in the corn belts of Iowa, I joined the Army when I turned 17 and traveled the globe.

I settled down in Washington State and raised a family. I jumped on board the internet in the early 90′s and rode the tech bubble with large companies like Weyerhaeuser and Boeing.

After many years in the computer programming and web development business I shifted gears after Sept 11th and jumped into real estate.

Using the web technology I learned from the corporate world and my strength in Search Engine Optimization, I was able to position my websites at the top of the search engines for real estate keywords and ended up buying over forty single family houses.

This was my “Ah Ha” moment when I realized how important it was to be on the front pages of search engines. As social media took off like Facebook and Twitter it became even more important to have not just an online presence but a strong local footprint on the internet. Adapt or die is as true today as ever. You simple must adapt an online strategy for your business or you will not be able to compete for long.

You have heard the saying that the definition of the golden rule in business is the person with the gold makes the rules. Google has 80% of the gold right now. When they decide to reward businesses that have optimized locally online, you need to be one of those business or you will get left in the cold.

I specialize in Local Search Optimization and Social Media. My focus right now is on new business development and helping local businesses use SEO and Social Media to dominate their local markets. You really can become the only game in town if you learn the right strategies.
